Days of Our Lives Recap, June 12: Bo and Hope Reunite, Abigail Deeply Missed
On the June 12 episode of Days of Our Lives, emotions ran high as characters came together to remember loved ones they’ve lost. Bo and Hope had a touching reunion, and Abigail’s absence was felt more than ever.
Remembering Abigail and John
Jack visited Abigail’s grave, leaving flowers and asking her to welcome John into heaven. At the same time, Julie found Jennifer struggling with emotions on the anniversary of Abigail’s death. Jennifer chose not to attend John’s wake and instead stayed home with her family. She spoke about how hard it’s been losing Doug and John so close together. Julie comforted her and reminded her to cherish the people still in her life.
Hope soon arrived, and all three women hugged. Jennifer stepped out to get ice cream, giving Hope and Julie time to talk. Hope said she felt bad for being happy about Bo’s return while still mourning John. Julie reassured her it’s okay to feel both sadness and gratitude.
While eating ice cream, Julie remembered how she once went to Paris to stop Bo from giving up on Hope. They laughed about the past, including the Cruise of Deception, and how Jennifer realized Jack was the one for her. A flashback showed Jack and Jennifer on the island. Jennifer told Jack to rest while she stayed up with Hope.
Later, Jennifer and Hope talked about a strange necklace Doug had taken. Jennifer was already looking into it, and Hope offered to help. When Julie came in, Jennifer went to bed, and Julie and Hope spoke about moving forward with Bo and being thankful for second chances.
John’s Wake at the Pub
At the Brady Pub, friends gathered to honor John. Steve served drinks as Bo, Marlena, Kayla, Roman, and Shane joined in. Steve gave a heartfelt toast, calling John the best man he’d ever known. Marlena shared memories of their time together, and the show played flashbacks of John’s life—like when he was The Pawn, and their trip to West Virginia.
They remembered past enemies like Stefano and Orpheus, and how John and Marlena fell in love. Shane also mentioned his son Andrew is marrying John’s son Paul. Roman left to call Kate, and Marlena followed to comfort him. They hugged and talked about the pain Stefano had caused.
Steve brought up an old tradition he had with John—listing their enemies every year. The group laughed and shared memories, even recalling Marlena’s possession. They leaned on each other during this emotional time.
A Quiet Goodbye
At the end of the night, Bo talked to Steve about maybe starting a new team with Hope. Shane said goodbye, and Bo thanked Roman for hosting everyone at the pub. Marlena and Roman were left alone, and she apologized for past mistakes. Roman told her he had moved on and valued his friendship with John.
As the episode closed, Marlena stepped outside the pub by herself. She looked up at the night sky, remembering the time she came back from the dead. With tears in her eyes, she quietly said goodbye in her own special way.
