BREAKING: Rishab Shetty and Kantara Chapter 1 Team Escape Boat Accident in Mani Reservoir
Rishab Shetty’s upcoming film Kantara Chapter 1 has faced several setbacks during its shooting. The latest incident happened during a shoot at the Mani reservoir in Karnataka, where Rishab and around 30 crew members were involved in a serious accident.
Boat Capsizes During Shoot
According to reports by NDTV, a boat carrying Rishab Shetty and other team members tipped over in the shallow waters of the reservoir. Thankfully, everyone on board escaped safely and without injuries, including Rishab himself.
Though no one was hurt, the accident led to a loss of important filming equipment, including some valuable cameras that sank in the water.
Police Begin Investigation
After the accident, Thirthahalli police were quickly informed and came to the spot to look into the situation. An official investigation is now underway to find out exactly how the accident happened and how much damage was caused.
A crew member told PTI that there was a lot of panic when the boat flipped, but since the water was not too deep, everyone managed to swim or walk back to shore safely.
Release Date Rumors Denied
In recent weeks, there were rumors that the release of Kantara Chapter 1 might be postponed from its planned October 2 date. These rumors grew stronger after there were no updates from the filmmakers for a while.
However, the makers have clearly stated multiple times that there is no delay and the movie will release as scheduled.
Despite the challenges during filming, Kantara Chapter 1 remains one of the most awaited films of the year. Fans are eager to see what Rishab Shetty brings to the screen once again.
