Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Upcoming Twist: Why Is Armaan Returning to Udaipur After 7 Years Apart from Abhira?
The popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to win hearts with its dramatic twists. Recently, the story took a major turn with a 7-year time leap, showing that Armaan and Abhira have been living separately all this time. Their unexpected separation left fans shocked, and many are now hoping for a reunion. The good news is—there’s a strong chance they might meet again, and it’s all because of their daughter, Maira.
Star Plus recently released a new promo giving a sneak peek into the upcoming story. The promo shows Anshuman holding Abhira’s hands, looking happy, while Kaveri and Vidya smile in support of their bond.
Meanwhile, Maira wants to go to Udaipur to take part in a dance competition. Abhira hopes things will finally start getting better. As Maira leaves for Udaipur, Armaan also decides to return to the city—after staying away for 7 years.

After the leap, Abhira is shown living with Kaveri and Vidya, away from the Poddar family, due to past differences. Armaan, on the other hand, has cut ties with both Abhira and his family ever since Maira went missing years ago.
Interestingly, Abhira recently visited a house to deliver a saree—without knowing that it was actually Armaan’s house, and that Maira is the same child—her Pookie—who went missing years ago.
The show stars Samridhii Shukla as Abhira and Rohit Purohit as Armaan. After the leap, Garvita Sadhwani’s role has been paused. Recently, Rahul Sharma joined the show in a key role, and his character is expected to bring a big twist that will affect both Abhira and Armaan’s lives.
